Tax Policy
Sales tax is not separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from onSale through the Rakuten.com Shopping Site unless explicitly indicated as such in the ordering process. Items ordered from onSale may be subject to tax in certain states, based on the state to which the order is shipped. If an item is subject to sales tax, in accordance with state tax laws, the tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item, including shipping and handling charges, gift-wrap charges and other service charges, less any applicable discounts. If tax is separately calculated and collected in connection with items ordered from onSale through the Rakuten.com Shopping Site, the tax amounts that appear during the ordering process are estimated - the actual taxes that will be charged to your credit card will be calculated at the time your order is processed and will appear in your order confirmation notification.
onSale makes every effort to get your order to you as soon as possible. In some instances there might be a delay till the order gets transferred to onsale due to Buy.com's credit card verification system. This might cause your order to be processed the next shipping day. Please take this into consideration when you place your order. onSale policies are subject to change without notice. We do our best to ship all orders as rapidly and accurately as possible. However, onSale is not liable for late or delayed shipments or system failures. Title to items being purchased passes from onSale to purchaser at the time of shipping. Order-cut off Times & Delivery: Each order must be credit approved and transmitted to the shipping warehouse before the cutoff time of that warehouse location. Same-day shipping cutoff times vary by warehouse location and may range from 2:00pm EST to as late as 10:00pm EST. Orders placed and/or credit approved later than the applicable warehouse cutoff time will ship the next business day. Orders placed and credit approved anytime Sunday for in-stock items will ship on the following Monday. Shipping Restrictions: At onSale we strive to ship your order as quickly as possible. However, because of inventory, shipping, and matters outside of our control, our statements as to usual shipping times are not guarantees or promises that a product will ship on a specific day. Title Risk of Loss: Title to items being purchased passes from onSale to purchaser at the time of shipping. Customer takes on full liability for safety and validity of delivery address given to us at the time of purchase. onSale will not incur any forwarding costs on shipments. onSale shall not be responsible for damages or delays resulting from Acts of God, war, riot, seizure, terrorist activities, embargo, or other acts or events outside the reasonable control of onSale. Return Policy:If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return most items within 30 days of the date of shipment. We will exchange items or give you a refund for the full amount of your order. All returned or exchanged items must be in their original box and include packing material, manuals and all accessories. A restocking fee of 15% may be charged if your product is not returned in its original unopened condition/box or is missing packing material, manuals or any accessories.* Return Process:Contact onSale at 1-800-896-2011 within 30 days of shipment for a Return Authorization (RA) number before returning product. No returns will be accepted without a RA number. Once an item arrives at onSale, we will immediately send a replacement or issue a refund. Returns must be made within 15 days of Return Authorization. Warranty & Service:Warranties for computers & electronics sold by onSale are supported by the product manufacturer. If a product requires service under warranty, customers are directed to contact the customer support of the individual manufacturer. *Please note exceptions: - No returns accepted on personalized/engraved iPods (except if product arrives dead on arrival) or opened software. - 7 day limit on the return of unopened software. Defective software may be returned within 7 days of invoice date only for exchange of same title.
